The Lega-C Scholarship Foundation was began to honor the life of Celie Leblanc-Ulm, who lost her battle with cancer in 2023. The scholarship is offered to volleyball players who exemplify leadership on the court, grace to their teammates, and live a faith-based life. Coaches may nominate players in the Acadiana area who exemplify the traits of Coach Celie and have a strong faith-based mentality.
Founded by Brittany Franklin Hebert, Sky High for Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening conditions. The program offers help and support to families going through these challenging times. Their goal, through their efforts and medical studies, is to lower the rate of child cancer globally.
Rockin’ on the Runaway is an annual fundraising event in Sunset where proceeds benefit St. Mary’s Residential Community and Services. St. Mary’s mission is to provide a loving, spiritual community that allows individuals living with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential. The event includes an airway show, live music, and an aerobatic show.

The Autism Society of Acadiana is a nonprofit organization based in Lafayette, Louisiana, dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families throughout Acadiana. Established in 1985 by a group of parents and professionals, the organization aims to share information, provide resources, and offer support to families affected by autism.
Cajun Wheelers is the only NWBA youth wheelchair basketball team in the state of Louisiana. The non-profit was started to give young athletes with lower limb disabilities the opportunity to play competitive wheelchair basketball. The goal of Cajun Wheelers is to create an environment that inspires personal growth, develops friendships, and gain independence.
The United Way of Acadiana is a nonprofit organization based in Lafayette, Louisiana, committed to improving lives and strengthening communities in Acadiana. Their mission is to unite people and organizations with passion, expertise, and resources to create more opportunities for a better life. They help in the health community, youth community, and assist with financial security.
The Rain-Bowie Foundation was started after founders, Bobby and Catherine Brignac, lost their baby, Bowie, after birth. Their non-profit organization provides cuddle cots to hospitals, which allow families to spend more time with their child and begin the process of grieving and recovery in a gentle, loving manner.
Hospice of Acadiana is the only nonprofit hospice provider in the Acadiana region, offering compassionate, comprehensive end-of-life care to patients and families across a nine-parish area in South Louisiana. With over 40 years of service, it is the oldest hospice organization in the state and has supported thousands of patients and their loved ones.
The Kiwanis Club of Lafayette, established in 1944, is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the children and families of Acadiana. As part of Kiwanis International, the club focuses on enhancing educational opportunities, supporting youth development, and fostering community engagement.
